Information we collect

• Account information — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google.
• Connected source data — When you connect third-party services (email, code hosting, analytics, payments, and similar tools), we fetch data from those services on your behalf to build your briefing. What we access depends on the permissions you grant during connection.
• Credentials — OAuth tokens and API keys you provide are stored encrypted. We use them only to retrieve data for your briefings.
• Preferences — Your timezone, delivery time, briefing instructions, and source settings.
• Generated content — Daily briefings, collected events, and delivery records we create for your account.

How we use your information

• Authenticate you and operate your account
• Collect and summarize data from your connected sources
• Generate your daily briefing using AI
• Deliver your briefing to your dashboard and email inbox
• Maintain, secure, and improve the service

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your connected source data to train AI models for other customers.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to run Morning Report, including hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, and AI processing. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations appropriate to their role. When you connect an external tool, that service's own privacy policy also applies to data held on their platform.

Data retention

We retain your account data and briefings while your account is active. If you disconnect a source, we stop fetching new data from it. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Security

We encrypt stored credentials, use HTTPS for data in transit, and limit access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to protect your data using reasonable industry practices.

Your choices

• Connect or disconnect sources at any time from your dashboard
• Update your delivery time, timezone, and briefing instructions
• Request access to or deletion of your account data

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
